Gregacy for the Kids is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that launched in October of 2023. The objective of our organization is to directly benefit children or families in the Des Moines metro who have experienced the loss of a parent, just as Greg's children have. Our vision includes holding social fundraising events on a bi-annual basis followed by a children’s event shortly after. These children’s events are meant to give a moment of joy to children and families who have experienced a loss, and the events are also where donations or gifts may be distributed.

Our vision is to give back to children or families in the form of fun events, “make-a-wish” style gifts requested by the children or families, monetary donations, tickets to events, and more. Those who benefit from Gregacy for the Kids can be any child in the Des Moines metro who has suffered the loss of a parent, as well as local children’s organizations aimed at providing support for these communities. In order to identify the children or families to serve, we encourage nominations from members of the community.
